THE FORTUNE OF WAR

The Fortune of War is nestled in Brighton’s arches by the sea, and is by far the city’s oldest seafront watering hole dating back to 1882 and still remains the one true pub amongst many clubs and bars on the seafront. The popularity of this pub is easily recognisable as soon as you visit for the first time. The Beer garden is probably one of the best in the country with panoramic views of the sea and Brighton’s two famous piers framing it. Once you step inside you’ll be transported to another world with what you would only describe as an upside down boat. On the second floor there are large windows and again you will be able to see for miles out to sea. The pub has a traditional décor but with a nautical twist to it all.
