Breakfast

Continental breakfast can be served in your room - please let us know the evening before. It's an optional extra as some guests prefer eating out - breakfast on the beach being a popular choice in summer. Breakfast ingredients are organic and/or Fairtrade wherever possible.

Cigs, kids, pets

George himself preferred eating and dancing to smoking*, so we ask our guests to refrain from smoking. (Eating is best done in one of Brighton’s many restaurants. Dancing’s fine.)

Children of all ages are welcome but we don’t cater for pets, much though we love them. Assistance dogs are the exception.

Bikes and buses

Dry and secure bike storage is available if required.

Brighton buses are brilliant. You might want to take a bus to Kemptown, the Marina , the Downs or Hove; most other places are walkable. www.buses.co.uk is the website. This has a map which looks like the wiring in a Boeing. Or you could ask us when you get here.

Cancellations

We ask for credit card details when you book but only debit anything if you cancel.
There's no charge if you give us at least a week's notice. If you cancel between one and seven days beforehand, a charge of 50% of the first night room rate applies (for each room booked). If you give us less than 24 hours' notice we'll charge the full amount for the full duration booked.
