BreakfastsWe offer a choice of four different breakfasts – we call them French, Greek, American and Scandinavian (though we have taken a few liberties). Just saying “brioche”, “pain-au-chocolat”, “croissant” exercises our saliva glands. The French breakfast is stuff like that. If patisserie isn't your thing we can transport you to a Greek island where a thick and creamy natural yogurt awaits, served with fresh fruit and honey; to follow, a slice or two of moist, oaty flapjack.. The American comprises a choice of cereals – cornflakes, Weetabix, muesli, Jordans Original – served with semi-skimmed milk, and toast, butter and Bonne Maman preserves to follow. Finally we have the Scandinavian, which is a selection of sliced hams and salami, cheeses, crusty bread and butter. All breakfasts are served with tea (various types are available) or coffee (caff or decaff) and fruit juice. Everything possible is organic and Fairtrade, and free range where relevant. |
